Wii Peripherals
The Wii remote features an expansion port which can be used to plug in
a number of different devices and add-ons.
Nunchuck Controller
Plugging in the Nunchuk controller gives you a joystick and two extra
buttons. If you've played Wii sports, you might have used the nunchuk
for Wii boxing, but as it has two extra buttons and a joystick, we anticipate
that many more games will make use of this controller.
Classic Controller
The Wii Virtual controller also known as the Classic Controller is a joypad
that can be used to play a number of old games from the SNES.
Zapper gun (Future release)
If you have a game that requires that you shoot targets on the screen
you need the zapper gun, this expansion is slightly different as the Wii
controller actually plugs into a slot on the gun itself. Various other
official Nintendo peripherals will be available, that also integrate with
the main Wii remote.
Wii Sports Pack
The Wii sports pack gives you that realistic sports feeling when you're
swinging your controller. Although not essential it can make your gaming
more fun. This pack contains a mini golf club, a steering wheel and a
tennis racquet.
