Did you ever dream of being in a band, but you didn't have the time or patience to learn to play a musical instrument? Well Wii Music skips past the tricky business of learning your scales and struggling with chords. With Wii Music all you have to do is mimic the simple motions of the instrument.

For example to play a drum you simply drum with the Wii remote and Nunchuk, to play a guitar you just need to strum. Air guitarists are going to love this game

You can play in a band with up to four players. You each get to choose from a selection of 60 instruments, you then choose a song and how you want to play it. Songs can be played in different styles from rock to jazz style. All of these choices give you an almost endless way to play music.

Wii Music even makes use of the Wii balance board. When drumming for example the balance board becomes your foot pedals, used to operate the bass and the hi-hat cymbals. Wii Music is also compatible with Nintendo Mii characters and WiiConnect24. After you've perfected a song you can send your recording to your friends using Wii Connect24 and they will see your Mii characters playing on their screens.
